GENITAL WARTS

*
*

Warts can appear on any part of the body. Genital Warts appear in the genital region and around your bum. There are over 70 different kinds of warts so the best description would be a fleshy growth on the skin.

Warts can be passed on during sex and close body contact. These can even develop around the mouth after oral sex. Condoms are usually not able to stop you catching warts from a partner so other treatments including paints (containing a mild acid) and Cryotherapy (freezing them off) to get rid of the infection. A doctor or nurse will talk to you about the best treatment and you will need to follow their instructions carefully when using either method to treat warts. During these processes the skin can become painful and sore, if this happens you need to wash the solution off straight away.
