Good advice is to do some extra exercise and eat sensibly. If you are planning to cut down on foods that contain a lot of fat and sugar that's fine, but if you are thinking about a diet in order to loose weight, you should talk to your doctor and get advice about a plan that would suit you. If you are at school ask the nurse.
It is a good idea to keep an eye on the sort of foods that you eat, but it is important not to become too fixed on how much you weigh as weight can go up and down for all sorts of reasons such as puberty, growth spurts and the water that is in your body.
Skipping meals altogether or restricting yourself to only one type of food such as salads is not a good way to lose weight. Equally not eating regular meals but eating lots food all in one go (called bingeing) is not good for your body and could make you put on more weight.
